Achim Scharm is an accomplished procurement professional with extensive experience in global purchasing management. Currently serving as the Head of Procurement at CHT Group since February 2022, Achim oversees global procurement for over 23 production facilities and leads a team of approximately 60 employees. Achim previously held the position of Purchasing Director at LIQUI MOLY GmbH from October 2011 to February 2022, managing a team of 15 across two locations. Additional experience includes serving as Head of Purchasing at Schill + Seilacher GmbH, where Achim managed a team of 4 and an annual purchasing budget of around 70 million, and as Deputy Purchasing Manager at Akzo Nobel Coatings GmbH, responsible for a budget of approximately 180 million.
