Tamika L. Smith

Tamika L. Smith, MBA, MS, PMP, serves as the Chief Operations Officer at the National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD) since May 2011, where responsibilities include overseeing company operations, managing employee productivity, and fostering an inclusive culture. Smith has held several key roles within NACDD, including Sr. Director of Project Management and Member Services, where strategic direction and management of projects, technology, and member engagement were prioritized. Prior to NACDD, Smith was a partner at SAE Design Studio, Inc., managing design operations for large-scale projects, and held positions at KDA Holdings Inc. and Munro Design Associates focusing on design and project management. Educational qualifications include an MBA and MS in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from American InterContinental University, and a Project Management Certificate from Georgia State University.
