Mara Galic serves as the Senior Program Manager at the National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD) since January 2021, following a diverse career in public health and nutrition. Prior to NACDD, Mara held leadership positions at BlazeSports America as Acting Executive Director and Director of Operations & Evaluation from September 2011 to January 2021 and worked as a Health Scientist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Additional experience includes roles such as Director of Project Development and Evaluation at BlazeSports America and Nutrition and Physical Activity Project Coordinator at the Georgia Department of Human Resources. Earlier experience also encompasses public health nutrition work with the City of Toronto and prenatal nutrition project coordination at the Hincks-Dellcrest Center. Mara holds a Master of Health Science in Public Health with a focus on Community Nutrition and a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences, both from the University of Toronto.
