Sam Bagchi, MD, serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer at CHRISTUS Health since April 2017, where efforts are focused on enhancing patient and community outcomes through improved quality, safety, and efficiency. Previously, in roles at Presence Health, including Interim President and System Chief Medical and Quality Officer, emphasis was on managing quality and safety across healthcare services. Earlier experience includes leadership positions at Methodist Health System, Vanguard Health Systems, and Emerson Hospital, alongside contributions to the Society of Hospital Medicine as a founder and president of the Indiana State Chapter. Sam Bagchi's educational background includes medical degrees from Indiana University and The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Indiana University Bloomington.
