Emily Klug began their work experience in 2002 as an Image Archive Intern at The Frick Collection. Emily then worked as a Graduate Curatorial Intern at The New-York Historical Society before joining Leonard Fox, Ltd. as a Gallery Manager. In 2006, they became the Gallery Manager/Assistant to Art Dealer at Lillian Heidenberg Fine Art. Emily then worked at PaceWildenstein as an Assistant Registrar and later as an Associate Registrar. In 2010, they joined Andrea Rosen Gallery as an Artist Liaison before moving to Pace Gallery. At Pace Gallery, they held various roles including Senior Coordinator, Arts Administration; Senior Registrar; Director of Registration; and Senior Director, Art Resources. Currently, Emily Klug is the Senior Vice President and Director of Operations, Americas at Christie's.
Emily Klug obtained a B.A. in Art History and English from Union College in the years 1999 to 2003. Emily later pursued an M.A. in Decorative Arts and Art History, with a concentration in 18th-20th century art and Fashion History, from The Bard Graduate Center of Decorative Arts, Design and Culture from 2003 to 2006. Additionally, they attended Gotham Writer's Workshops, but no specific degree or field of study information was provided.
