Ming Wong has a diverse work experience across multiple companies. They started their career at Phillips 66 in 2012 as a Credit Analyst in Treasury. They then held various roles in different departments such as Commercial F&PA, Renewable Fuels Trading F&PA, Controllers - Long Range Planning & Budgets, and Global Refining. Their responsibilities included financial analysis, consolidations, and support for the CFO. In 2018, Ming became a Fuel Products Scheduler in the Commercial department at Phillips 66. In 2020, they joined Christian Brothers Automotive as a Manager in Financial Services and later became the Director of Finance, Strategy & Transitions.

Ming Wong completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Texas McCombs School of Business from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they attended Valparaiso University from 2009 to 2011, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance and International Business, with a focus on NCAA Division 1 Men's Soccer. In 2007 and 2008, they attended Southern Methodist University, where they pursued Business Administration and Management, also while being part of NCAA Division 1 Men's Soccer.
