Dr. Georgios Giasemidis is an accomplished data scientist and researcher with extensive experience in various sectors, including retail, energy, and defense. Currently serving as the Lead Data Scientist at Choreograph since May 2021, Dr. Giasemidis previously held roles such as Senior Data Scientist at GroupM and Sandtable, and a Data Scientist & Mathematical Analyst at CountingLab, where expertise included big data analytics, electricity demand forecasting, and machine learning. In addition to industry roles, Dr. Giasemidis contributed as a Data Science Mentor during the KaggleX BIPOC Mentorship Program in August 2023. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the University of Oxford, with additional qualifications from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon and The University of Bonn.
