Jim Nicol possesses over three decades of engineering experience, currently serving as the Engineering Manager for Maintenance & Stores at Chivas Brothers Ltd since July 1997. An Incorporated Engineer and member of the Institution of Engineering Technology, Jim plays a pivotal role in the configuration of the Enterprise Asset Management system and leads the development and management of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems across multiple sites. Prior experience includes engineering management roles at Abel Eastern International Ltd and Harper Collins Publishers, where responsibilities ranged from resource planning and safety management to training and project oversight. Jim's early career began as a Fitter/Turner at Albion Motors Ltd, complemented by an HNC in Mechanical & Production Engineering from Clydebank Technical College.
