Glauber Costa has a diverse work experience in various engineering and leadership roles. Glauber is currently the Founder/CEO of Turso since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Staff Engineer at Datadog from July 2020 to September 2021, where they focused on architectural changes to improve performance and reliability. Glauber also created and maintains the Glommio Rust executor. Before that, they held multiple roles at ScyllaDB, including Distinguished Engineer, VP Field Engineering, and Principal Architect, where they worked on engineering projects and customer engagements. Glauber was also a Principal Software Engineer at Cloudius Systems from 2013 to 2015, and a Senior Engineering at Parallels from 2011 to 2013. Glauber's earlier experience includes working as a Sr. Software Engineer at Red Hat from 2006 to 2011, where they made significant contributions to virtualization technologies such as Xen Hypervisor, KVM, and QEMU. Glauber started their career as a Linux Developer at IBM's Linux Technology Center from 2004 to 2006.
Glauber Costa pursued their undergraduate education in Computer Science at Universidade Estadual de Campinas from 2000 to 2006. Glauber then continued their academic journey at the same institution, earning a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Computer Science from 2000 to 2007.
