Justin founded Silk Road Telecommunication (SRT) in 2000 as a corporate telecom services provider focusing on corporate solutions including IDC infrastructure. Releasing the first carrier neutral Internet Data Center in Eastern China in 2001, SRT is the pioneer in corporate telecom services. With nearly 5,000 racks available, SRT is one of the larger independent IDCs in China. SRT’s ever-expanding customer base includes such companies as Alibaba, Tencent, iQiyi, Midea, Red Bull, Motorola, China Mobile, China Unicom, Public Security Bureau and many other SMEs, domestic and multinational alike.
Justin was instrumental in building the business from conception to a fully recognized provider of core infrastructure services for hyperscalers. Managing a team of over 150 members, Justin knows that SRTs success is a combination of hard work and an unrelenting focus on high value customer service. Justin oversees all aspects of the business, including corporate affairs, client development and operations.
Additionally, Justin is active in YPO (Young Presidents Organization) and sits on the board of various start-ups. As an active mentor, Justin firmly believes that shared experiences is essential to helping young entrepreneurs succeed.
Justin has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, CNN, CNBC, South China Morning Post and numerous publications within China. He is also a frequent speaker at industry conferences including the World Economic Forum.
Justin graduated with honors in Chinese History from Bowdoin College. He grew up in San Francisco, and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
