Azima S. is a Senior Lead Commercial Counsel at Chime, with previous experience as Lead Commercial Counsel in the same company since June 2021. Prior to this role, Azima served as Counsel at Robert Half from March 2017 to May 2021, focusing on commercial transactions and law, and held the position of Associate Counsel in the same department. Azima's early career includes serving as a Staff Attorney in Risk Management at Capital Health System from June 2014 to July 2016, where responsibilities included the review, drafting, and negotiation of various agreements. Additionally, Azima taught Introduction to Criminal Justice as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Temple University in early 2014. Previous roles also include Deputy District Attorney at Kern County District Attorney’s Office, law clerk positions at Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office and The Veen Firm, and various internships related to legal advocacy and employee benefits. Azima holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from UCLA and a Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law.
