Lauri Strano is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in early childhood education and program management. Currently serving as the Director of Programs & Services at the Children's Institute in Rochester, NY since 1999, Lauri oversees initiatives impacting 43,000 children annually and manages a budget exceeding $4 million. Previous roles include Director and Deputy Director of Community Partnerships, Senior Project Coordinator, and Project Coordinator, all focused on enhancing service quality and supporting professional development in early education. Lauri's career also includes leadership roles at Unity Health System and Lakeside Health System, as well as foundational experience as a Teacher/Caregiver at Genesee Hospital Child Care Center. Lauri holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Rochester and a Master of Science in Education from Nazareth University.
