Pete Weitzner is a seasoned journalism professor at Chapman University since 1997, where Pete serves as the Professor and Director of Broadcast Journalism, launching numerous careers in TV and broadcast journalism while creating Orange County's only live TV news program. Since May 2020, Weitzner has been a Special Consultant at CHOC Children's Foundation, supporting the organization in connecting with partners and donors to enhance pediatric healthcare. Additionally, Weitzner has contributed as an editor at the Orange County Business Journal since May 2017 and previously was the host and executive producer for Chapman Business Report from 2000 to 2016. Weitzner holds a Master of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rutgers University.
