Rebecca Chartrand is an accomplished educational leader and advocate for Indigenous education with extensive experience spanning numerous organizations. Currently serving as a Board Member at the Canadian Museum of Nature and President of the Indigenous Strategy Alliance, Rebecca also holds a position on the Board of Directors for the Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba. Previous roles include Vice President of Programs and Student Support at Indspire, Division Principal and Anti-Racism Lead at Seven Oaks School Division, and Executive Director at Red River College, where significant initiatives such as a $1.4 million bursary fund for Indigenous students were established. With a strong background in policy development, collaborative leadership, and strategic planning, Rebecca has made impactful contributions to promoting Indigenous education and fostering inclusive environments throughout their career, supported by a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Manitoba.
