Maritza Salinas, MSOD has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Maritza began their career as an Education Advisor Intern at the Maisin Scholar Award Program in 2012 and continued to work as an Education Advisor until 2015. In 2015, they joined the San Francisco Education Fund as a Post Secondary Program Manager and later transitioned to the role of Program Director for the Maisin Scholar Award. From 2020 to 2021, Maritza served as the Director of Programs at the San Francisco Education Fund. Currently, they are working at the Children's Council of San Francisco, where they started as a Family Support Manager in 2021 and is currently serving as the Associate Director of Family Support.
Maritza Salinas, MSOD, holds a Master's degree in Organization Development from the University of San Francisco, which they obtained from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from San Francisco State University between 2011 and 2013. Maritza began their education at Contra Costa College, where they completed an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Small Business Administration/Management from 2007 to 2011. In terms of additional certifications, Maritza obtained a certification in Facilitating Career Development from the National Career Development Association in May 2020.
