Edwina Jones joined the Board in 2010. Prior to her retirement, she was a pharmacist, working in retail pharmacy and later as a consultant pharmacist. Edwina and her late husband, Spike – who was a Board member from 1993 to 1998 – have been long-time supporters of the Institute. Their daughter, Emma, is a childhood cancer survivor, having been diagnosed in 1991 with osteogenic sarcoma.
Edwina sits on the Board of the Zero Childhood Cancer Capacity Campaign and is a member of the Remuneration and Nominations Subcommittee, and the Marketing & Fundraising Subcommittee.
