Kim Harsch's work experience includes holding the position of Project Manager at the Children's Alliance of Kansas. In 2011, they joined the Kansas Department For Children and Families, where they served as the Kansas Protection Report Center Intake/Protection Specialist until April 2019. From April 2019 to April 2022, Kim was promoted to the role of Kansas Protection Report Center Supervisor.

Kim Harsch completed their Bachelor's degree in Social Work at Washburn University in an unspecified year. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Macro Social Work at The University of Kansas, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
