Luana Casetti is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as the Europe & Emerging Markets Senior Brand Leader for Rare Diseases at Chiesi Group since March 2021. Prior to this role, Luana held positions at Akcea Therapeutics as Marketing Manager for Rare Diseases, at Sobi as Haemophilia Product Manager, and at Sandoz as Product Manager for Epilepsy and Respiratory Diseases. Luana also contributed to Novartis as a Product Specialist in Cystic Fibrosis and in Respiratory Marketing. Furthermore, Luana has a solid foundation in research with a PhD in Hematology and Oncology from Hôpital Cochin, focusing on Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Functional Genomics from Università degli Studi di Trieste and a Master's degree in Genetics from Université Paris Cité, along with a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
