Roberto Requejo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in transit-oriented development, diversity and inclusion, and community engagement. Currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors for the Chicago Transit Authority, Roberto previously held the role of Executive Director at Elevated Chicago eTOD, where leadership was provided in advancing equitable transit-oriented development in Chicago. Roberto has successfully organized coalitions, managed significant grant allocations, and fostered relationships with key stakeholders to promote community priorities. Prior roles include Assistant Vice President at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, where strategic diversity and inclusion initiatives were implemented, and Program Officer at The Chicago Community Trust, focusing on community resilience during the foreclosure crisis. Roberto holds a Master of Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois Chicago and advanced studies in Political Science from Universidad de Santiago de Compostela.
