Sharee Onyezia, M.A., serves as the Assistant Principal at Wells Community Academy High School within Chicago Public Schools since November 2021, focusing on instructional leadership, teacher recruitment, and mentoring. Additionally, Sharee is an Educator Mentor and Consultant for the Golden Apple Foundation, where mentoring new K-12 teachers across Illinois is a main responsibility. Sharee's prior roles include serving as Assistant Principal and Principal in the Archdiocese of Chicago, where educational leadership was emphasized, and teaching various social studies courses at multiple high schools, including Gwendolyn Brooks College Prep Academy High School and The Chicago High School for the Arts. Sharee's educational background includes ongoing doctoral studies in Educational Leadership at DePaul University, a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from Dominican University, and a Bachelor of Arts in History - Secondary Education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
