Aisha Collins is an experienced educator with a strong background in instructional leadership, currently serving as an Elementary School Teacher at Chicago Public Schools since September 2018 and an Educator at Champaign Unit 4 Schools since August 2016. Previous roles include Consultant and Assistant Principal at Chicago Public Schools, where significant contributions were made in improving student attendance and academic growth, as well as facilitating HR processes and implementing instructional strategies. Aisha also held the position of Academic Dean of Intermediate Elementary at National Heritage Academies, focusing on curriculum development and teacher support. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Postsecondary Teaching and Learning, alongside two master’s degrees in Educational Leadership and Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University.
