Sophia Amanda Cariño is a dedicated professional with a diverse background in healthcare staffing, education, and research. Currently serving as a Recruiter at Amergis Healthcare Staffing since March 2024, Sophia utilizes various strategies to attract qualified candidates for healthcare and school-based positions. As a member of the Board of Advisors at Chicago HOPES for Kids, Sophia focuses on mentoring students from low socioeconomic backgrounds. Previously, Sophia held leadership roles at UChicago Medicine, including Director of Student Support and Operations and Lead Curriculum Coordinator and Coach, while also contributing as a Research Assistant in the Department of Pathology.
