Gary Lewis serves as the Academy Technical Director for Chicago Fire FC, a position held since January 2023. In addition, Gary has been a Lead Coach Educator for the U.S. Soccer Federation since November 2021. Previous roles include Head Coach for New York Red Bulls II, Academy Director and U17 Head Coach at Seattle Sounders FC, and U17 Head Coach at Philadelphia Union. Gary's extensive experience also includes a temporary role as Assistant Coach for the U18 US Men's National Team and serving as National Director of Coaching at The Football Club USA, overseeing 1,000 players and coaching staff across multiple states. Earlier career highlights feature a position as Head of Youth Development Phase at Liverpool Football Club and Lead Academy Coach at Everton Football Club. Gary's educational foundation was established at Norton Priory Comprehensive in Runcorn, Cheshire.
