Lizzie Sokolich is a skilled designer with a Master's degree in Design from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science and Music from the University of California, Berkeley. Currently serving as a Designer at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs since August 2023, Lizzie previously held a Marketing Assistantship at Carnegie Mellon University where features and articles were written for the School of Design. Lizzie's experience as a Product Designer at Foundry College involved prioritizing new features to enhance user experiences, as well as creating UI style guides and prototypes using Figma. Additional roles include Senior Course Design Assistant and Course Design Assistant, where Lizzie contributed to application redesigns, quality assurance, and user-facing documentation. An early internship at the University of Southern California's Brain and Creativity Institute focused on research studies related to music and its cognitive impacts.
