Cynthia Kane is a seasoned development professional currently serving as a Leadership Gifts Officer at the Chicago Botanic Garden since May 2023, where responsibilities include managing a portfolio of leadership gift donors and crafting strategies to enhance giving. Previously, from November 2006 to April 2023, Cynthia held the role of Senior Director of Development at the Leukemia Research Foundation, successfully diversifying funding sources and establishing new corporate partnerships for various programs. Earlier in their career, Cynthia served in multiple executive roles at Viacom between 1995 and 2004, including Regional Vice President and Vice President of National Accounts. Cynthia earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado Boulder between 1977 and 1981.
