Stuart Coleman is an experienced petroleum engineer with a robust background in core analysis and carbon capture initiatives. Currently serving as a Venture Executive at Chevron since June 2012, Stuart has progressed through various roles, including Venture Principal and Petroleum Engineer - SCAL Advisor, where responsibilities encompass managing special core analysis programs and overseeing project implementation for asset teams. Prior experience includes working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Gulf Coast Carbon Center, where Stuart focused on CO2 injection dynamics and economic analysis for enhanced oil recovery. Additional internships at notable companies, including Chevron and Jon Brumley Texas Venture Labs, provided insights into market validation and geological assessments. Stuart holds a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering and a Master of Arts in Energy & Earth Resources from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering from the University of Mississippi.
