Maria Coelho is a seasoned technology leader currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Chevron since April 2022, where responsibilities include driving innovation and overseeing engineering teams to meet strategic objectives. Prior to Chevron, Maria held the role of Senior Software Development Engineering Lead at Frontier Communications from May 2021 to April 2022, successfully managing a team to develop and implement scalable API solutions and spearheading significant operational migrations. Maria's experience also includes software development roles at Microsoft, where contributions were made to the Cortana Connected Home project, and at Vertafore, where a hybrid mobile app was maintained. Earlier career highlights include strategic sales at Staples and testing engineering at Volt. Maria holds a Master of Computer Applications from The Master's University and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Brooklyn College.
