Frederick Verner is an experienced professional in the energy and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as Permian Regulatory Manager at Chevron since November 2012, Frederick advises and supports unconventional development projects and advocates for regulatory needs related to public land access and environmental stewardship. Previous roles at Chevron include Unconventional Resource Development Adviser and Unconventional Project Manager and Senior Earth Scientist, focusing on technical and regulatory issues and resource potential evaluation in the Permian Basin. Prior to Chevron, Frederick worked at Monsanto from 2001 to November 2012, where responsibilities included leading field testing technology development, managing biotech trait development in Argentina and Brazil, and enhancing manufacturing processes. Frederick holds a Master of Science degree in Geophysics from Purdue University, acquired between 1979 and 1985.
