Rebecca Choate is an experienced clinician currently serving as a Clinician III in OP Mental Health at Chestnut Health Systems since March 2014, where counseling services are provided to individuals using evidence-based practices to manage anxiety and depression. Previously, Rebecca held several significant roles, including Clinician II in the Med Plus Program and Mental Health Professional at Adapt of Illinois, where services were provided to individuals with serious mental illnesses. Additional experience includes being an Intensive Outpatient Counseling Intern at Touchette Regional Hospital and a Counseling Intern at Lutheran Child and Family Services, focusing on trauma-informed care. Rebecca began their professional journey as a Community Support Worker at Comprehensive Mental Health Center of St. Clair County. Educational credentials include a Master's in Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University and a Bachelor's in Social Work from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
