Edwin Tharp has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Edwin started their career as a Senior at Arthur Andersen in 1986 and worked there until 1991. From 1991 to 1996, they worked as a Business Controller at EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc. In 1994, they became the President and CEO of IDK International, where they served until 2015. In 2000, they joined International Dispensing Corporation as COO and CFO, holding the position until 2003. In 2007, they worked as a CFO Consultant at ANI Pharmaceuticals and as a Consultant at Ripken Baseball. From 2008 to 2009, they served as a Consultant at RBI Foundation. In 2008, they also became a Board Member at Constellation. From 2012 to 2013, they held the role of CFO Perry FL at Chemring Group PLC. Lastly, since 2013, they have been a Director at Chess Consulting LLC.

From 1984 to 1986, Edwin Tharp attended the University of Baltimore, where they pursued a Bachelor's of Science degree in Accounting.
