Monica Fernandez CPA has extensive experience in tax services and accounting, currently serving as Director of Tax Services at Cherry Bekaert since March 2016 after progressing from Senior Tax Manager. Previously, Monica held the position of Tax Manager at Afo LLC and spent nearly 17 years at CBIZ MHM, LLC as Senior Tax Manager. The career began as a Sole Practitioner at Monica Fernandez CPA, providing tax and accounting services to small businesses and individuals. Additional experience includes serving as Assistant Controller for Lutheran Ministries of Florida and Tax Supervisor at Laventhol and Horwath. Monica holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Florida International University, graduated between 1981 and 1983.
