Kasey Wood has a diverse work experience in various industries. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Graduate Assistant at East Carolina University, where they provided assistance in academic and administrative tasks. In 2014, they also worked as a Group Supervisor at the Harrisburg Area YMCA, taking care of infants and toddlers and creating developmentally appropriate lesson plans.

From 2015 to 2015, they worked as a Child Life Practicum at RHA Health Services, LLC, where they provided physical and psychosocial care to children with complex medical needs. In 2016, they completed a Child Life Practicum at The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University, where they observed and facilitated therapeutic activities for children with blood disorders.

In 2017, Kasey was a Child Life Intern at Carolinas HealthCare System, completing clinical hours at the Levine Children's Hospital. Kasey also worked as a Sales Associate at Orangetheory Fitness during the same year.

From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Registered Behavior Technician at Speech Connections, LLC, providing behavioral interventions to children with autism.

More recently, Kasey worked at EY as an Inventory Analyst from 2020 to 2023. Currently, they are employed at Cherokee Federal as a Real Property Inventory Analyst, starting in August 2023.

Kasey Wood completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Child Development and Family Relations from Indiana University of Pennsylvania from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2011, Kasey attended PennWest California where they studied Biology, General. Kasey then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Human Development and Family Studies at East Carolina University from 2014 to 2017. In August 2017, Kasey obtained a certification as a Certified Child Life Specialist from The Association of Child Life Professionals, Inc.
