Mike Haines is the Chief Information Officer for Cherokee County, Georgia, a position held since July 2022. Prior to this role, Mike served as the Assistant Director of Information Technology for Cherokee County from April 2002 to September 2021, managing a 20-person IT department and overseeing various technical functions including web programming and desktop support. Earlier in their career, Mike worked at Per-Se Technologies as a Webmaster from 1995 to 2000, where responsibilities included developing applications and managing helpdesk staff. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Kennesaw State University, earned between 1987 and 1993.
