Meghan Roper is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and instructional strategies, currently serving as an Instructional Strategies Specialist at Cherokee County School District since June 2017. Previously, Roper worked as a 5th Grade Educator at Cobb County School District and as a 5th Grade Mathematics Educator at Oxford City Schools District. Roper has also held various teaching roles, including a Second Grade General Education Teacher at Douglas County Board of Education and as an Educator and Director for Title I programs at Carroll County Board of Education. Early career experience includes serving as a Special Educator for fourth and fifth graders at Paulding County Board of Education. Roper is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing at Georgia State University, building on a solid foundation with a Master of Science in Education and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Jacksonville State University.
