Susan Schayes MD, MPH, FAAFP is a prominent leader in the field of primary care, currently serving as Chief Transformation Officer and Vice President of Clinical Transformation at ChenMed since January 2016. With extensive experience in healthcare delivery, Dr. Schayes has held the positions of National Director of Primary Care and Regional Chief Medical Officer at ChenMed, where focus lies on innovative care models for Medicare-eligible patients with chronic conditions. Prior to ChenMed, Dr. Schayes served as Chief Medical Officer in multiple markets for JenCare Senior Medical Centers and held progressive leadership roles at Emory University, including Residency Program Director and Division Chief of Family Medicine. Dr. Schayes holds a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Alberta and a Master of Public Health from Emory University.
