Nilsa Zacarias, AICP, is an accomplished planning professional with extensive experience in urban and community planning. Currently serving as the Director of Planning at Chen Moore and Associates since December 2022, Zacarias previously held the position of Principal at NZ Consultants Inc. from July 2009 to January 2023. Zacarias earned a Master's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Iowa State University (1992-1994) after completing a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) from the same institution (1980-1986).
