Wes Reid currently serves as a Subject Matter Expert at Chegg Inc. and as a Lead Instructor at Correlation One, both starting in early 2024. Previously, Wes held the position of Director of Curriculum at Pursuit, where responsibilities included leading curriculum development and optimizing training programs. Prior to this, Wes worked as an Instructional Designer at Pursuit and as a Curriculum Coach with Ada Developers Academy, contributing significantly to various curricula, including Python. Wes's experience also encompasses roles as a Subject Matter Expert at Thinkful and a Software Developer at Wiki Education Foundation. Additional instructional roles include teaching Backend Development at the University of Washington and leading educational initiatives at Galvanize Inc. Early career highlights include software development positions at TurboVote and AfterSteps. Wes holds a BA in Philosophy and Anthropology from Columbia College and has completed additional training at General Assembly.
