Remberto (Bert) Magbanua has extensive experience in various roles within the technology industry. Remberto (Bert) started their career as a System Administrator for the Web Systems group at Earthlink in 1997, where they managed and maintained numerous domain websites using Netscape web servers on Solaris based servers. In 2002, they joined Fly Technology as the Director of Engineering, where they led the hiring process for a team of highly talented engineers and oversaw the development of a Java-based web application. This application aimed to provide a comprehensive range of features, including email, chat, printing, document sharing, and more. From 2005 to 2007, they worked at Entertainment Publications as a Senior System Administrator, responsible for managing a small farm of X86-based servers that supported Java-based applications for the company's website. Since 2006, they have been working at Cheetah Software Systems as the Director of Operations, serving as the primary Systems and Network Administrator. In this role, they manage a variety of hardware, including IBM Power Servers, Bladecenter, X86, and Power blades, as well as application servers running Windows Server.
Remberto (Bert) Magbanua's education history begins in 1984 when they enrolled at Saint Francis High School. Remberto (Bert) studied there for four years and obtained their High School Diploma in General Education in 1988. Following their high school education, Bert Magbanua enrolled at the University of Southern California in 1991. Remberto (Bert) pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Geology at USC and completed their studies in 1996.
