Sujatha Kumar is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical industry with extensive experience in drug development and assay evaluation. Currently serving as Senior Director at Checkmate Pharmaceuticals since April 2021, Sujatha previously held the position of Director at GSK from January 2017 to April 2021. Prior roles include Principal Scientist at Horizon Discovery, Senior Scientist at Momenta Pharmaceuticals and Paratek Pharmaceuticals, and Scientist I at Inotek Pharmaceuticals, focusing on various therapeutic areas including inflammatory diseases and cancer. Sujatha holds a PhD in Molecular & Cellular Pharmacology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, an MS in Pharmacology from St. John's University, and both an MS in Biological Sciences and a BS in Pharmacy from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
