Vítor V. has worked as an AppSec R&D Developer at Checkmarx since May 2021. Prior to that, they had research scholarship roles at Universidade de Aveiro. From October 2018 to October 2019, they worked on the development and optimization of software for network bipartitioning using Fortran, Python, and C. Vítor also performed data analysis and visualization using NumPy, Pandas, and ggplot2. From June 2014 to December 2014, they developed image reconstruction software for a medical imaging system using Matlab and Python, and performed signal processing for hardware testing using Matlab.

Vítor V. pursued higher education starting in 2016 at Universidade de Aveiro, where they obtained a Master's degree in Physics in 2019. Subsequently, in 2019, Vítor V. enrolled at Universidade do Minho, majoring in Music Performance, General, and is expected to graduate with a Bachelor's degree in 2022.
