Thomas Rouch started their work experience in 2016 as a Communications Marketing intern at JuMP MINES ParisTech. Thomas then worked as a Part-time Student Researcher in Control Engineering and Kalman Filtering at K-Ryole. In 2017, Thomas had an R&D Internship at Bosch, where they worked on Waste Heat Recovery System development. In 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer at Hawk-Eye Innovations Ltd, focusing on computer vision projects for sports applications. From 2019 to 2021, Thomas worked at PROPHESEE as a Computer Vision Engineer, specializing in SLAM and feature-based embedded visual odometry. Currently, they are employed as an R&D Engineer at Check & Visit, starting in 2021. In 2022, Thomas will join ENSAI as a Chargé de TP/TD.
Thomas Rouch has a strong education background in mathematics and applied sciences. Thomas began their education journey in 2010 at Lycée de la Plaine de l'Ain, where they pursued a Baccalauréat in the field of Sciences de l'ingénieur, completing it in 2013. Following this, Thomas enrolled in Lycée du Parc and studied in the Classe préparatoire aux Grandes Ecoles (CPGE) program, specializing in MPSI/MP*: Mathématiques and Physique. Thomas graduated from Lycée du Parc in 2015.
To further enhance their knowledge in applied mathematics, Thomas then joined Mines Paris in 2015. Thomas pursued a Diplôme d'ingénieur, specializing in Applied Mathematics, and successfully completed the program in 2019. Alongside their studies at Mines Paris, Thomas also attended École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay from 2018 to 2019. There, they earned a Master 2 (M2) degree in Applied Mathematics.
In addition to their academic achievements, Thomas obtained two notable certifications. In October 2017, they received a Goethe-Zertifikat C1 with a score of 82 out of 100 from the Goethe-Institut e.V. Furthermore, in October 2018, Thomas earned a TOEFL iBT certification with a remarkable score of 103 out of 120 from the Educational Testing Service (ETS).
