Derek Middlemiss serves as the SE Director for Eastern EMEA at Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd., where responsibilities include leading a team of approximately 60 Security Engineers across diverse regions such as CIS, Eastern Europe, Africa, GCC, and Turkey. With a strong background in security solutions engineering, Derek has held several key roles, including Head of Security Solutions Engineering EMEA, where oversight encompassed technical overlay teams focused on Digital Transformation, Cloud Native security, and threat prevention. Prior to joining Check Point, Derek was the Technical Director at DVV Solutions Third Party Risk Management, contributing to business growth through the adoption of new technologies. Derek holds an HNC in Electronic Engineering from Bedford College.
