Nick Burgess has a diverse background in healthcare supply chain management and leadership roles. Nick began their career in the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class from 1999 to 2005. After their military service, they worked as a Materials Manager at Vibra Healthcare from 2009 to 2011, and then transitioned to a similar role at Methodist Health System from 2011 to 2013. Nick then joined Community Hospital Corporation in 2013, where they held the position of Corporate Director - Supply Chain until July 2020. In this role, they oversaw account directors and managers, negotiated agreements, and implemented supply chain communication strategies. Additionally, Nick served as the Vice President of Strategic Accounts and Vendor Management, where they continued their responsibilities in overseeing the hospital group's diverse supply needs. In 2018, Nick joined the City of Celina and served as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Adjustments.
Nick Burgess earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Criminology from the University of North Texas, where they studied from 2005 to 2008. Nick then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Texas A&M University-Commerce, where they attended from 2013 to 2016.
