Preksha Bhavsar is a Geographic Information Systems Technician at the Municipality of Chatham-Kent since May 2023, with previous experience as a GIS Technician at Apple from March 2018 to July 2020 and at CenterPoint Energy in early 2018. Preksha has a background in creating spatial datasets, editing data, and ensuring system data integrity using various GIS tools. Earlier roles include an Energy Consultant at LGCY Power, an Environmental Officer at Nirma Limited, and a GIS Intern at the Bhaskaracharya Institute of Space-Applications and Geo-Informatics. Preksha holds a Master of Science in Environmental Control Technologies from the New York Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Environmental Science from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from K. K. Shashtri Government Science College.
