Tom Downey is a seasoned sports writer and broadcaster with extensive experience in the field. Since September 2013, Tom has served as the Lead NFL Writer at Chat Sports, focusing on fantasy football, the NFL Draft, and the NFL season. Previously, Tom worked as the Sports Director at WMSR from December 2013 to May 2015, managing a team of 21 broadcasters and overseeing Miami athletic event broadcasts. Additionally, Tom held the position of Sports Editor at The Miami Student from November 2012 to May 2015, where responsibilities included managing a team of 12 writers and ensuring the accuracy of all sports stories. Tom Downey holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Sports Leadership and Management from Miami University, earned between 2011 and 2015.
