Steven Villafuerte is an experienced educational leader and finance professional. Currently serving as Manager of Structured Finance at Charter School Growth Fund since July 2022, Steven conducts due diligence and supports charter operators in financial and governance strategies. Previously, Steven worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at BASIS.ed, where financial modeling and analysis were key responsibilities. Steven has also held leadership roles in academics and operations at multiple BASIS schools, including Director of Academics at BASIS International School Prague and Head of School at BASIS Phoenix. Steven holds a Master of Science in Business Analytics from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Sciences in Mathematics from San Diego State University.
