James Tamplin is a seasoned entrepreneur and technology executive with extensive experience in product management and business development. As a Board Member at Charm Industrial since February 2018, James contributes to the mission of sequestering carbon to address climate change. James co-founded Covid Act Now in March 2020, a nonprofit that developed dashboards to enhance decision-making during the pandemic, ultimately saving thousands of lives. Prior to these roles, James served as Group Product Manager at Google following the acquisition of Firebase, where James was Co-Founder and CEO, leading the platform that powers millions of apps. James has also co-founded various startups, including Envolve, and holds advanced degrees in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as involvement in iDiscover 360 and Y Combinator.
