Mickey Ellis is a skilled professional with extensive experience in both security and machining. Currently serving as a Security Guard at Charlotte Motor Speedway since October 2015, Mickey ensures the safety and security of the garage area and race events while also managing the security of the main tower. With over 25 years of expertise as a CNC Programmer/Machinist at Hendrick Motorsports, Mickey specializes in Haas machine setup and NX 11.0 programming across multiple axis mills. Previous roles include CNC Machinist at H&R Mullis Machine Shop, a Production Worker at Apollo Valves, and Assistant Production Manager at Consolidated Metco Inc, demonstrating a well-rounded background in manufacturing and production management. Mickey is a graduate of Central Piedmont Community College and holds a high school diploma from Monroe High School.
