Damane Duckett is an experienced professional currently serving as a School Resource Officer with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department since June 2013. In addition to law enforcement, Damane has worked as a DJ/MC for A1 Mobile DJs since January 2010 and previously engaged in mentoring roles as a CMS Employee at Myers Park High School from 2012 to May 2013. Additional experience includes coaching as an O-Line Coach at Jireh Prep and serving as a Substitute Teacher/Football Coach at Providence Day School. Damane also has a background in fitness, having worked as a Personal Trainer at ZX Fitness. Prior to these roles, experience in professional football includes time as a Lineman for the BC Lions in the Canadian Football League and as a Defensive Lineman in the NFL. Damane's earlier career featured media experience as an intern with Greenville Public Access Television. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Communications from East Carolina University, obtained between 1999 and 2003, following attendance at North Davidson Senior High from 1995 to 1999.
