Research Fellow In Veterinary Epidemiology, Biosecurity And Surveillance (gulbali Institute) at Charles Sturt University

Ariful Islam serves as a Research Fellow in One Health Epidemiology at Charles Sturt University since April 2024, building on extensive experience as a Senior Scientist and Bangladesh Programs Coordinator at EcoHealth Alliance since 2010, alongside roles as PREDICT Country Coordinator for USAID's Emerging Pandemic Threats Program. Previous experience includes a position as a Veterinary Surgeon with the Wildlife and Nature Conservation Circle and as a Livestock Officer for RDRS Bangladesh. Ariful holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Epidemiology from Deakin University, a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from American International University-Bangladesh, a Master of Science in Pharmacology from Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the same institution.
